For more than two decades, Javier Vassallo’s relentless pursuit has allowed him to carve a name in the fashion world, first as a designer for global brands Vera Wang, J.Mendel, Monique L’huillier, Halston and BCBG, and most recently, as head of his own label vassallo, and now his Made-To-Order collection, vassalloAtelier. During this time, Javier has developed a distinctive point of view that is at once modern and classic, edgy and feminine.

His experiences living and working around the world, from his hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Paris, Chicago, New York, Hong Kong and Los Angeles, have informed his design outlook, inspiring and shaping his take on how the modern woman dresses, thus allowing him to effortlessly create garments known for their daring sophistication and elegant, clean lines.
